This RF CO2 Galvo Laser Cuts, Engraves & Even Does Glass! | ComMarker COX Review

Today we're taking a look at the new ComMarker COX 40W CO2 galvo laser and putting it through a variety of real-world engraving and cutting tests.

The COX uses a 40W RF metal tube with a claimed 30,000+ hour service life, a standard 200×200mm working area, motorized Z-axis with LiDAR autofocus, and supports both ComMarker Studio and LightBurn software.

In this video I test the machine on:

• Photo engraving on black metal cards
• Basswood and maple engraving
• Faux leather and felt cutting
• Slate photo engraving
• K9 crystal engraving
• Clear and coloured acrylic engraving and cutting
• 3mm plywood cutting
• A custom acrylic LED map project with fine text details
