Winter Single Engine Flight Over the Rocky Mountains. Cessna 150 Flight to Golden Ski Resort.

I woke up this morning to drive 15 minutes to the Springbank Airport (YBW) where my brother picked me up in a Cessna 150 to fly across the Rocky Mountains to Golden BC (YGE). We landed in Golden then walked from the airport to the road that leads up to the ski hill. In just 5 minutes, we had hitched ourselves a ride up to the hill, and got in a great day of skiing and boarding!

It was 15 years ago that my brother and I would go to ground school at Springbank Aero after work and would often dream of doing a trip like this "one day"... It was an absolute pleasure to head across the mountains with my brother Ryan, and definitely a day to remember.
