Biofuels. Are they really a climate solution? Or are they quietly entrenching fossil fuel infrastructure for decades to come? Corn ethanol, sugarcane ethanol, palm oil biodiesel and so-called “Sustainable Aviation Fuels” have all become very big business and a very lucrative investment for landowners. But is that the best use of a precious and finite resource? It's a tricky one!
