In today's video I answer the following question sent in by a viewer named Eileen:

Not sure if you have previously discussed this question-How does the 4% rule work in retirement once the person starts their RMD’s?  My husband waited until 70 to retire and will be taking his RMDs next year.  According to the withdraw charts, he’ll have to withdraw more than 4 percent.

It's a great question, and one that I've received from a number of viewers. We'll do a brief overview of the 4% rule and RMDs, then dive in to how they might work together. Finally, I'll cover an RMD withdrawal strategy proposed by the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College.
