Autonomous driving is a hot topic. In this ROS Silicon Valley Robotics Live Class, we will give you a broad overview of core components in self-driving cars and show you how you can easily begin developing self-driving cars with ROS and Gazebo simulations.

The whole code and simulations will be provided to all the attendants.

Skills Needed:
* Basic knowledge of ROS
* Basic knowledge of Python

Equipment Needed:
This is a hands on Live Class. You will have to practice with the teacher. Bring your laptop!

The Live Class will be transmitted in real time from Barcelona, Spain, by Ricardo Tellez, CEO of The Construct (www.theconstruct.ai) and ROS expert.

What the seminar will cover:
1- What are the basic elements of self-driving cars
2- How to use the Prius Gazebo+ROS simulation of a car that is equipped with the typical sensors a self-driving car uses
3- How to localize the Prius in the world using GPS + IMU
4- Launching the City sim for further experiments.
