Why become an electrician?

Ive played with DC 12/24v for years and finally set up off-grid solar. I confess, a bit of an electrical nerd. Having done all this I thought 'Why don't I change my work towards something I enjoy and have a passion for'.

As ive taken the steps in moving toward becoming an electrician, I thought others could benefit from what ive found out and discovered, so I'm sharing my journey, starting with what are the benefits and options. Next week how to get started. . .
