Fire-Engine Red Jasper… Surrounded by GOLD?!

This time I’m heading to Vancouver Island to explore a new mineral claim, and the old reports describe something that definitely caught my attention!
According to those reports, this claim contains a huge deposit of fire-engine red jasper, bordered by pyrite and quartz that contains GOLD!
For this initial scouting trip, I’m joined by Whittle Stone Geological Treasures as we head into the claim to see if we can find evidence of what the old timers discovered here years ago.
We’re not coming in expecting to uncover the entire deposit on our first trip. This is about exploring the geology, following the clues left behind, and seeing if the jasper, pyrite, quartz—and hopefully GOLD—are really here.
And it doesn’t take long before we start finding some VERY interesting rocks!
