Go watch part one for the full story. I removed most of the hull on an aluminum Jon Boat and replaced it with a 1/4" plate of 5052 aluminum. I added a Jet Tunnel for better shallow water performance, and the result is a great running outboard jet boat! This is so much more than "just" a Jon Boat now, it's a well armored river running machine! It's significantly faster and more fuel efficient than before.
