In the heart of Lagos — a megacity of 20 million people pulsing with energy and big ambitions — nine undiscovered voices compete for a chance to speak on the world's biggest stage for ideas. From a renewable energy advocate who studied by candlelight to an archivist reimagining Africa-centered education, these speakers bring stories with global stakes. But only one will earn the 7,000-mile journey to the TED stage in Vancouver.
