I modified my highbanker's hopper from a screen to a grizzly. I also have a flattened out section up top to blast apart the material. It is a lot of water, but it is feeding into a double level sluice with a total of 24" wide of miners moss for recovery. Seems to work pretty good for being as light and compact as it is.
The hopper angle is adjustable, so to make the grizzly self clearing just at a notch of slope to it and the rocks just roll right off. I had it set a little flatter to keep the material in the crash zone for a better wash..
