Gemstone EXPERT Reveals Lava Born Treasures

Can gems be born of the fiery lava of a volcano? Can gems be formed or carried upward in the molten magma that comes up out of the earth? Can we mine them once it has cooled down into solid volcanic rock? While the vast majority of all volcanic rock contains no gemstones, some unusual types of volcanic rocks do.
