Danger, Death, Vampire Bats, GOLD! What a day!

Dangerous old mines, Evidence of death on the claims, attack from a vampire bat, and lots of gold. We had an amazing tour of the old mines sites all around Greenwood, BC. Thanks to the local historian and geologists for taking our group of Patrons out to see the mining history in the hills above Historic Greenwood, Canada's smallest city. With permission from the mine owners we took a group of about 12 to see the Phoenix mine including it's cemetery, the Snowshoe mine, The Lexington mine, and the No.7 mine. As well as a stop at Boundary Creek for some gold panning at the end of the day. We had so much fun, collected lots of high grade ore samples and made some new friends. You could not ask for a better day.
