Today I visited Mitani-san, a plasterer living in Kyoto, and made a dorodango using Kyoto pigments he gave me! A precious natural pigment sourced right here in Kyoto. The blue was so vivid 🩵 and when I marbled it with white it turned into such a cool piece!
Right now I have requests for bloodstone color, purple, and crystal! Crystal… I honestly have no idea how to recreate that one! Maybe make it white? 🤔✨ I want to try it next time! 😆
