YouTube's SHOCKING Invalid Traffic Policy is KILLING Creators Like Me

So why did YouTube pay me $113,328? That is a 4 year total, but for the last several years it’s been well over 30K a year. Until recently, I’ve been pretty happy with it. However, there has been a huge change. Whereas I was making over 30K, I am now making a rate of about 10K. That’s a huge reduction. The change is that YouTube has designated my channel as a source of “invalid traffic" and penalized me. Many call it a “bug” or a glitch. It’s not that – the classic definition of a bug in a program is that the computer program does things it’s not supposed to. In this case, YouTube’s computer programs are working exactly as intended. Its not a bug – it’s a YouTube corporate policy decision to blame creators for the Invalid traffic problem. YouTube has been in hot water for years for charging advertisers for invalid traffic. I think the current change in how they handle this is a CYA effort to show they are dealing with the problem – and its caused by the video creators.
