‘Willy Wonka Experience’ in Glasgow turns into 'Meth Oompa Loompa' Horror Show!

Last weekend a company called House of Illuminati, which charged up to £35 for tickets, promised an “immersive experience” based on the Warner Bros film Wonka. The popular movie stars Timothée Chalamet as the young chocolate entrepreneur and was an instant hit with children and grownups over the festive period. This event was promised to be a “celebration of chocolate in all its delightful forms” and so guests were expecting Giant mushrooms, candy canes, masses of chocolates, oompa loompas and maybe even a Chocolate river? However, the event ended with the police being called and children crying over the grimness of the experience and the new character they introduced called ‘the Unknown’. An evil chocolate maker who lives in the walls. Let’s discuss.
