Ubisoft is in FULL PANIC MODE! The Disastrous State of Ubisoft in October 2022!

Ubisoft has been struggling for years. Longtime veterans like Serge Hascoët resigned amongst other top talent not long ago. And now, Ubisoft’s chief creative officer, Igor Manceau, announced he will step down next month after only a year in that position at the troubled Assassin’s Creed publisher. So Ubisoft has announced that they are doing a big restructuring effort, Future titles like Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Assassins Creed: Mirage, Skull & Bones or Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope should not go through the usual sign off process anymore. Instead, the developing studios should get more creative authority and be able to make their own creative decisions, without the approval of the Paris Ubisoft Headquaters. This change is long overdue and we can only hope that Ubisoft sticks to it. Otherwise this might be the end of Ubisoft. As they are already too close to their downfall. With lackluster games, plummeting stock prices and disappointing sales figures. Where can Ubisoft go from here?
