Trying An Old 3D Printer (Printrbot Rev D)

I was given an early model 3D printer to experiment with, this is my first attempt to fire it up and print things. In fact it's my first direct experience with 3D printers at all!

This thing is mostly a kit design where everything is made from the simplest and cheapest materials. Sounds like something I would build! It was already assembled when I got it, so now I don't need to tear apart my DNA Sequencer to build a 3D printer!

This Printerbot seems to mostly work, aside from a few design issues. Certain parts unscrew themselves if too much plastic builds up. It also can't print very complex shapes and isn't super accurate, so I might keep this for simple designs of relatively flat things.
