AI Has Us Between a Rock and a Hard Place

A year ago I made a prediction about Chat-GPT5. I was correct then that it wouldn't come out any time soon, but I wasn't correct in hoping that the postponement of ChatGPT5 (if indeed ever comes out at all) might cause people to reevaluate the hype.

And that's a problem, for all of us (Software Developers, sure, although a TON of careers have it MUCH worse than we do).

So I'm trying to figure out how to better try to inform the public about the hype. So, in this video, I present an analogy I've come up with that I hope will help, and I talk about how I'm splitting off @SpecAgain for the Software Professional Career focused videos going forward, to try to leave this channel for the videos with wider appeal.
