Winter trip into my placer claim. Peachland, B.C.

Took the family up to our placer claim on Trout Creek behind Peachland to see what it looked like in the winter. Absolutely a beautiful day to play in the snow. There looked to be some diggable gravel in one of the holes, and a hole in the ice just big enough for a gold pan. I might just have to go and try some winter prospecting! Gold panning in the BC interior during the winter might be a challenge, but it is not impossible.
