Power bricks are usually thought of as the transformers that run laptops and other electronic devices. But a research team at Washington University in St Louis, Missouri has just published details of a power brick that actually is a brick. A red house brick to be precise.They've found a way to chemically change the internal composition to enable it to store electrical energy. The average house contains about ten thousand bricks, so this may be yet another game changer.
