Paris Steampunk Museum (Musée des Arts et Métiers)

We recently visited the Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris. It's a fantastic steampunk-esque science museum showcasing inventions and technology from the 1700s to the 1900s. While it's (probably) not intentionally steampunk themed, the relative lack of much modern technology gives it a really retro feel!

I would highly recommend this museum to anyone visiting Paris. It's large enough that you can easily spend a half or full day wandering around inside. the displays and models are very informative, some of them are even designed as teaching aids.

I saw a few cool things in this museum that might show up in future Saveitforparts projects! It's definitely a good inspiration for any amateur mad scientist!
