We turned recycled plastic HDPE bottles into a set of knife scales for this beautiful chef’s knife from @BespokeBlokeDesigns 🔪
We made a custom knife scale plywood mould for this and then ripped the blank in half to give us a matching pair. Then, we chose to use Corby fasteners to attach the scales to the tang of the knife, because HDPE doesn’t work very well with glue.
This was a really fun build and we absolutely LOVE the end result. Definitely going to be making more of these in the future.
