Nuts & Bolts of Oxidized Organic Painted Pottery

Since part of this season will focus on replicating ancient Salado Polychrome pottery, I thought I would start off with a video explain in detail what Salado Poly is and how it can be made authentically. This video first explains what we know about this pottery by looking at the ancient sherds. Then it goes into how Salado Polychrome can be made today. Finally I give the details on the #SaladoChallenge and the prehistoric pots that are being recreated.
