Occasionally I pick up mystery devices from Ax-Man Surplus (https://www.ax-man.com/). This was a completely unmarked black box with some antenna connectors, so I opened it up to see what it does!
It appears this is a Dataradio from EF Johnson, a former Minnesota radio manufacturer. It's probably for industrial SCADA controls (monitoring and controlling valves etc).
If anyone has any ideas for what I could do with this, let me know in the comments!
