I was fascinated at how some of the locals built a functioning sluice box out of an old steel drum. They set it up for me to demonstrate how they mine for gold. The miners moss they use seems to do a great job of capturing the local gold, even though the sluice doesn't look very fancy.

I just think things like this are super cool, and love learning about all the cool creative ways people around the world search for gold.
