Have you ever seen our plastic injection process look this good?

We had a very rare, quiet morning in the workshop, so we thought we would take you through how our Book Mantas are born. We start by pouring out the perfect measurement of our unique blend of granulated waste plastic. This batch has already been mixed into our Cadbury Swirl colourway and loaded into our quick-pour dispensers, ready for recycling.

The exciting part is loading our plasticpreneur injection moulding machine. It melts down the plastic granules and gets them ready for us to spin the wheel, forcing the molten plastic into our custom mould. The plastic sets very fast, which means we can get straight to unbolting the mould and revealing a brand new 100% recycled plastic Book Manta. From there, it just needs a quick snip and a hand finish before being boxed up and shipped off to its new home with a book lover.
