Alchemy!? Well no. I have not yet been able to turn lead into gold. Although the Cupel process sure looks like it. This video series is all about melting, smelting, cupelling, and fire assays. Equipment, chemicals, processes and flux will all be covered. I will be learning right from the basics so this series should be a good way for the armature gold prospector to learn. I will be using the KK8 and Kwik Kiln 2 smelting and cupelling furnaces provided to me from "911 Metallurgist" and "Gold Processing Kilns" Both links below.
