Pre-exploded surge protection strip. What the heck???

This is a first. It's an Eveready branded surge protection strip that had already been involved in a terrible incident involving smoke and flames before it even got packaged. In fact, probably WHILE it was being packaged.
On a plus note I get to talk about MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) surge suppressors and then explain why it was probably just as well it went on fire in the factory anyway.
