Note that this paper is often based on red phosphorus and the smoke it generates while burning is not safe to breathe. The resultant residue may be a small quantity of white phosphorus which is pyrophoric and may literally be igniting with finger temperature. It should not be ingested. Factory workers with high exposure to it develop medical issues. interesting trick, but not something you want to do too often.
