Something of a new years display.
This was my first try at creating a display with the yet to be released program AfterGlow. AfterGlow is a game version of the firework display coordinating program ShowSim 3D. This video was rendered using a computer that was sub par in 2001, which shows that the program handles itself quite well even on slow systems. My experience with the program over the few hours I used to create this display have been quite positive. A particularly fun part of the program is the ability to design just about any shell or other effect (no matter how impossible they may be in reality) using the effects editor.
A pretty positive initial review overall. The video and audio quality in game is much better than that shown in the video. Even a well designed game can't make up completely for my computer hewn from granite a few centuries ago.
The website for this program is yet to be completed but it will be hosted at
www.AfterGlow-Fireworks.com.
