I used authentic matcha from Fukuoka, Japan!
The scent was amazing!! You’ll see my surprise in the video!
It had the rich, deep matcha aroma just like the one I experienced in Japan 🥹💕
Creating the Dorodango surrounded by that wonderful fragrance was truly the best!

Can you find matcha powder where you are?
I was so impressed by how good it smells.

I spent a long time experimenting, so I didn’t manage to capture the later steps in the video, but after trying many things, I feel like I’ve figured out the best approach 🙌
It’s true that you can’t know what works unless you try!
In life, there are so many situations where we can’t find the right answer unless we try different things.

You have to try to know, right? ☺️✨

After all my trial and error, a beautiful pattern finally appeared 😭🙌
It’s such a beautiful, natural design.

I still have a lot to learn, but I feel like I’m starting to figure out how to use natural materials for coloring.
After a few more experiments, I hope to properly compile this method into a recipe 😊

Since there aren’t many workshops in December, I’ll have time to film a few YouTube videos ☺️💕
I’ll be trying out different Dorodango projects, so please look forward to it!
I think there will be fewer videos during winter break 😊
