On July 4, I took my boat out for the first trip of the 2022 season. I traveled from the Innisfail bridge up to the Dickson Dam then all the way down to the city of Red Deer and back. Total distance of about 96 km on the river! The jet boat burned just 35 liters of fuel which is pretty good if you ask me!
It was a rainy trip, so the new Bimini top definitely paid for itself on this trip! It's a great addition to the boat. The new raised aluminum flooring also worked out great and kept me high and dry from the puddle of rain that collected in the bilge overnight!
Just a heads-up, if you are expecting to see a lot of gold, I didn't find enough to set up the high banker. But if you watch to the end, I do show where you can find about 30 small specks of gold in a pan.
