Pink nooky pills and non-exploding fairy lights (except for one.)

A small number of Poundland's USB fairy lights might have a wire attached to the wrong end of the resistor causing the first LED to fail. I was hoping mine would have the fault, but it didn't. So I tried to make them go bang and it took misuse of an electrolytic capacitor to get results.
