There is a secret place which holds great treasure for Python programmers on NVIDIA Jetson Developer Kits. In this video, we install OpenCV with CUDA support using a pre-built Python .whl file. We'll share the secret portal which hold a wide variety of pre-built CUDA enabled libraries. In this tutorial, we'll also go over how to find and install any missing dependencies, and go through a quick demo.
The .whl files may change over time.
Jetson AI Lab PyPi server: https://pypi.jetson-ai-lab.io
In the video, we downloaded the wheel files then:
$ pip install opencv_contrib_python-4.10.0.86-cp310-cp310-linux_aarch64.whl
$ pip install opencv_python-4.10.0-py3-none-any.whl
The following dependencies were also installed:
$ sudo apt install libhdf5-dev
$ sudo apt install libtesseract-dev
$ sudo apt install libatlas-base-dev
