The glaciers are melting faster than we thought!

It turns out that while the Arctic and Greenland get most of the press attention partly because of their proximity to Canada and, by association, the United States, it's actually Antarctica all the way at the other end of the globe that could potentially prove to be the biggest threat to our civilisation.
