My Friend Chris is back for another hiking video. Both our dads gave us their Ice Axes years ago, and for the first time we figured we should put them to good use! The weather wasn't perfect, but we had an amazing day climbing Mt. Lorette in Kananaskis Country.

The ice axe and crampons I'm using were purchased by my father back in 1977-1978 when he was just 27 or 28 years young!

For me, this mountain was a tough climb, and it only goes to show just how incredible the "real" mountaineers are as there are MUCH harder mountains out there... Some mornings it can feel like a real accomplishment just to get out of bed, and so I think it's important to allow yourself to feel good for your own little accomplishments. This was challenging for myself, and so to make it to the summit felt great!

Cheers, and thanks for watching!
