Finding Clay for Pottery to Match Ancient Salado Pottery Sherds

I head out to the Gila River Valley to find the clay that ancient Arizona potters used to make Salado Polychrome pottery in the 1300s. Look at the Safford Valley Grids, ancient Native American waffle gardens.
