Making Benches out of Plastic Waste in Africa 🇬🇲

On our recent trip to Gambia, one of the products we focused on in our training was a bench. The Precious Plastic Gambia team had bought an extruder and a beam mould, so this seemed like the perfect thing to make to get through a lot of waste plastic.

These were some of the first samples we made together to start practicing with this simple design for a bench and stool. The beauty of being able to make things like beams it gives you so many opportunities to make a whole bunch of different things.
