Snap, the package manager and launcher on the Jetson, recently upgraded. The new version is not compatible with the default Jetson kernel. This video shows how to revert to the previous working version, and make sure it doesn't get upgraded later.

The NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano is shown in the video, but the Jetson AGX Orin and Jetson Orin NX are also effected by this issue.

In the video, we're using a freshly flashed Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit, running JetPack 6.2.1.

Here are the commands :

snap download snapd --revision=24724
sudo snap ack snapd_24724.assert
sudo snap install snapd_24724.snap
sudo snap refresh --hold snapd
