After two solid days of high banking a brand-new hot spot, Cyle and I pulled out over 3 grams of gold and figured we’d done a pretty thorough job. But something didn’t sit right…
So I went back.
This time, no rushing material through the high banker. I slowed things right down and got into the bedrock properly—using brushes, picks, and even a vacuum to clean out every crack and crevice the shovel couldn’t touch.
What we found hiding underneath our own workings was honestly hard to believe.
This is the part most miners skip… and it might just be where the real gold is.
