This video shares my experience at a Dorodango workshop held at the INAX Live Museum in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, and playing with a Dorodango kit I bought there! It was so much fun!

Before visiting the workshop, I introduced myself as Dorodango Noriko on YouTube and sent a message.
Mr. Isomura, who developed the workshop program, kindly came to meet me and shared many stories about the development and special features of their Dorodango!

He grew up in a family working with pottery, making teapots 🫖, and saw the polishing process before firing.
This lifelong closeness to pottery is reflected in the workshop.

Everyone there was so kind and warm-hearted — the PR staff and museum team shared lots of interesting insights!

I felt the careful and sincere craftsmanship of Japan and its spiritual essence in the technique that brings out the beauty of a simple material to the fullest.
