Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4), as a kind of polymeric semiconductor that has unique electronic structure and excellent chemical stability, has attracted increasing attention of researchers.
MAKE IT!
you need:
10 g of Urea
1 g of Sugar
1 g of Carbon Black or SW CNT (carbon nanotubes). Alternative is activated carbon, graphite or graphene.
20 ml water
Heat the mix on 550 degC for 3 - 5 or even 12 hours!
Methode 2:
Mix a 10g urea, 1g sugar and 1g CNT and in a muffle furnace heated to 550 °C for 3 h. Then continued heating at higher temperatures (700, 800 and 900 °C) to obtain different levels of g-CN products.

Researchers have make a supercapacitor from this material (graphitic carbon nitride/sugar/CNT) and recorded the capacity of 259.4 F/g
