The metaverse may be doomed! Our favourite android MARK ZUCKERBERG announced today that he once again intends to reduce Meta’s hiring and reorganize the company internally. Since Facebook was created in 2004, it never experienced budget cuts on this magnitude. Meanwhile the Meta Stock has tanked by about 60% since the year 2022 began. Zuckerberg reportedly told staff, “I had hoped the economy would have more clearly stabilized by now. However, it doesn’t appear that it has, so we want to make some conservative plans." Will the Metaverse be the next Google Stadia and shut down soon? Can Facebook simply shut down the Metaverse? After doubling down so much on it?
