Since 2014, I have been turning on my 3D cameras almost daily to analyse the biomechanics of runners and have completed over 10,000 tests. In particular, I have been able to see what happens to all the parameters when I instruct runners to make different adjustments to their running. It has been my best teacher when it comes to running technique in practice. It is one thing to read in a book how it works in theory, another to see for yourself many times every day what happens. One such thing is how forward lean affects contact time in runners. Not all runners. But in this video you will see how a vast majority of the recreational runners I meet can shorten their contact time by leaning a little less.

"The best money I have ever spent. Great mix of humour, practical technique and theory. It’s brilliant and I have been telling all my friends about it. I’ve knocked 30 secs off my average pace to 4:30 and at 53 I’m absolutely astonished how relaxed I feel running. It’s also really helped my cycling my adapting similar techniques and visualisation. Thanks so much.
